Pet Acupuncture with Adam

Acupuncture is the practice of inserting fine, sold needles into the body for pain relief or, in some cases, to help the body deal with other problems or diseases such as cystitis and gut mobility issues.

Adam has a particular interest in the management of chronic pain and was awarded a General Practitioner Certificate in Western Veterinary Acupuncture and Chronic Pain Management in 2018. In addition to practising acupuncture and electroacupuncture, he has a wide knowledge of the use of analgesics and other aspects of pain management. He is a member of the Association of British Veterinary Acupuncturists (ABVA), the Western Veterinary Acupuncture Group (WVAG) and is accredited by the Veterinary Osteoarthritis Alliance (VOA).

Outside of work Adam enjoys walking – especially on Dartmoor, gardening and spending time with his family.
